Tamara Olt M.D. is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist in private practice in Peoria, Illinois and is the Executive Director of GRASP-Broken No More. She lost her 16-year-old son Joshua to an accidental heroin overdose in 2012. Since the loss of her son, she has devoted her time to advancing harm reduction practices throughout central Illinois and advocating for sane drug policies in the United States- focusing on evidence-based interventions and a public health approach to the overdose crisis.

She and her husband Blake started Jolt Foundation which focuses on harm reduction, overdose prevention, and recovery support. She is also a buprenorphine provider specializing in the treatment of pregnant women.
